correct me if i am wrong, but would the engine not need to be mounted transversly to give power to the rear wheels, also like that the gearbox is goin right outa the bumper

Dunno. I think the Olds Toronado had the V8 like that and the transmission under it. Cadillacs had the V8 transverse.

 

Anywho, it looks like he just balanced the engine in there and put a price sticker on it. The engines are not common so maybe the price is not outrageous, just not my cup o tea.

This was my attempt at putting a front wheel drive Caddy V8 in a Geo Metro, I couldn't engineer my way around the rear suspension, it went down the road to a new owner.
