Its that time of year again, scotch corner!

 

This is a biiiig ford show oooop north on the m1, so like last year we may aswell start a few regional convoys to get up there, the best way to drive, and time for a few on the road photos plus assistance on breakdowns.

 

Last year a few of us met up at the mcdonalds in colton retail park, just off the m1 (junc 46) i think, ill check that.

So i thought we could do it again, its a good hour upto scotch corner, so meeting about 11ish and setting off about 12-halfpast, waiting for any people who like to be late!

 

So whack your name and car on the list in the usual fashion to see who's coming for the convoy.

EDIT: for retroglam/cortinamad etc, do you fancy arranging a convoy a few juncs up the motorway to scotch corner at a services up on the way in the nooorth of that there yorkshire where our convoy could do a drive through and pick up your convoy?

 

just saves people coming from harrogate/above from coming half an hour down south just to go back past their house to be in a convoy ???

I would say to try and get away for 12, 1st scotch corner is always rammed, might be a good plan to leave for 12, arrive at 1pm to make sure we all get a good spot

but good idea for those of you who do it will be good to see a little convoy arrive

hope I get futher than last years convoy when my alternator lead hit my manifold and shorted everything out, engine died at 70mph on the m1, only got 3 miles but made it in the end!
