No offence to dixon but there wasnt much right with the engine lol, it was falling apart, we went round with some tools tightend everything up re timed it as it was way out and could still do with a vernier pully to get it spot on. Now really its just over fueling which is proberly down to the carb. it will be going in very soon (as soon as i get paid lol)

was the first time he had done anything this major to an engine before, but i agree hes an idiot.

 

Timing wasnt his fault as such tho, that was supposivly done by a "pinto expert " lol

 

Personally it was stupid of him to mod a pinto anyway, should just v6'd it.

If he did that, he would still have it.

im glad he didnt then cus i really love this car and now we have got it running ok she is a fun car to drive and it also does more that 40mph now lol

it will definatly stay pinto for a while as i want to get it in top condition throughout in fact ill proberly never get round to changing the engine lol
