Arfur Posted March 29, 2010 Report Posted March 29, 2010 For you, Darron, anything. Be forewarned though - it doesn't work out as cheap as most think.
DAZZA Posted March 29, 2010 Author Report Posted March 29, 2010 Seems like youll have a few interested parties as there are always posts on here for advice for different applications but no definative answers. Cheers
dawesy1700 Posted March 29, 2010 Report Posted March 29, 2010 it works out alot cheaper if you do it yourself rather than bogg bro's, i bought their kit (£550) and i wish i hadn't, get their manifolds and source everything else yourself. for example, the throttle cable they charged me £12 for?? was a mountain bike brake cable from halfords, you can buy them for £1.99!, i have kawasaki zx750 ninja carbs, can source a good set for £80-100 (ebay or bike breakers), i could go into detail about the trouble i had with bogg's but i'm at work and don't have an hour to write it all down, , if you classic ford boys are interested in doing a bike carb feature i'll be glad to help as best i can (once my cars back together, ) spoke to gareth on sunday @ scotch corner about the fuel ecconomy of bike carbs too (superb), anyway, i'll stop ranting now.
