Mex Badge Boot Holes

There seems to be 2 holes missing on the boot!

 

What are the measuerment for the holes?

Anyone had problems fitting the badges?

 

The pins on the badge seem to be too far apart to fit in the holes on the wings...

 

Last time the car had badges was in 1982

Just measeured a couple of Mexico badges I've got knocking around, the pins are between 81-82mm apart, these are original Ford badges.

Im getting 79mm apart centre to centre of pins!

I sent the badges back on Friday and they sent me the new ones which came today.

Anyone know the measurements for the boot holes? I need to know how far in and how far up.
