saw the band again saturday night as good as ever and reminding who NOT to vote for in the up coming election with a nice poem

 

'just remember you grandad he never voted for facists............he shot em'

 

 

anyway new single comes out 16th may, new line up this year because of indifferances between some members pushing that aside......live they are still possibly the BEST band to see so much energy and enthusiasam and such great guys if you get chance to say hello to them

 

 

the other week my mum and sis saw then at 2 of thier gigs and gave front man Itch one of the t-shirts my mum prints and he wore it on stage!!!! unfortunatly security wouldnt let them takes cameras in that gig so pic courtesey of Kerrang

Soon as I heard the song I thought of you Sam. It's good when a band you follow get more coverage. On the flipside it's so easy to lose your hardcore following if everything goes commercial and you get accused of 'selling out'. Hope they don't go that route

King blues are briliant live

 

could of seen them at a local music festival (the bearded theory, people are asked to join in with wearing beards for the weekend) but cant afford it

cant afford any of the festivals this year but on the up side im going to see Muse at Manchester in September

i really like the king blues iv seen them 4 times. but i think they are kinda turning into sell outs, i mean the 'save the world get the girl' album it was good but was way more pop than the other stuff and 'i got love' was used on a whiskas cat food advert and there wasnt much political lyrics, altho 'what if punk never happened' off that album was a sick poem thingy.

 

all tho im quite liking this new one.
