Guest Posted May 17, 2010 Report Posted May 17, 2010 Hi been looking through this site the last few weeks and have recently become a forum member. I really love the old skool fords and think i was born far to late. I am 27 but have not purchased a classic ford yet, still trying to save some money after just having our beby daughter. Questions is were do i start, have a low budget and really like pops and anglias etc. I have not done much in the way of car repairs changed the odd drop link on my newer focus but thats it. Trying to enrol on a diy welding course at my local college as i know this is going to be needed with an old ford. What car would be recommeneded as a first project on a low budget. Want to spend as little as possible on the car and save the rest as i go along. Interested in a full nut and bolt job. cheers for your help
Admin Mk2Jo Posted May 17, 2010 Admin Report Posted May 17, 2010 Hello and welcome to the forum Unfortunately, the old skool motors are becoming more and more expensive each year and so what you can buy will depend on your budget and your ability to renovate Mk1 Fiesta's are still fairly cheap for a half decent one which wouldn't require too much work or too much money to get on the road
lotusless Posted May 17, 2010 Report Posted May 17, 2010 welcome to the site + good luck in your search
