Yeah, Dave is trying to get prices ect on some places, only trouble with sprint days ect is that if Dave has to pay money up front for a certain amount of cars to show up when people have said they will, and they cant make it, it leaves him out of pocket.

thanks all i am not getting to my pc as oftern as i should curburough is a no go for this year as the earlyest date is 13th of november i am still trying to get the price down on donnington yes as lenny says its a big carpark but with some cones it becomes a safe short sprint course this is the best option it comes down to costings i have spoke to donnington today and await there reply i will in the meantime start sorting curburough

for late august next year i will keep you all posted

A sprint course at donny sounds good to me also i we should all pay up front if we want to go as it just wouldn't be fair for flored to run ANY risk of being out of pocket

Gaydon Motor Museum There always having sprint courses and rally days. Im sure they wouldnt mind us using there car park, if anything they'd probably welcome it

My missus works at the museum, and while it has a massive car park we can't do sprint there as it's open 7 days a week and the punters use it. Plus insurance worries etc etc, but they do have karting there!

ive done a few events that have had driving tests in the car park at gaydon,(retro ford gt and donor card gt)

 

Silverstone has very big car parks that get used by local motorclub for auto solos

Yeah that's right, but someone has got to pay for the use of the Gaydon site to get the car parks to play in and I don't think we'd get that many people!

hi all so no more joy at donnington they wont budge on price

but i have looked at the gaydon museum they do auto tests ect i will ring tomorrow and let you all know asap there calinder looks empty on saturday 21st august i will also provisinaly book late august next year at curnborugh but i will sort that in the new year

We could set a date for gaydon as the first meet, and sort different locations for future meets as and when? They've got loads of space, karting and we need to start somewhere!

Hi all so gaydon heritage motor centre have been in touch having talked to them they are hosting an autum clasic on september the 19th so i have requested some parking space for old skool ford

there's an auto jumble a boot sale (for the missus ) and half price in the museum.
