I've never driven a 1.3. Is it enough to keep you happy for now, or are you going to fit something bigger? What was the problem with the servo? It had a hole in it?

It had a hole in it? there was a hole in the diaphram, i fixed it with some loctite and a patch, seems to be holding well enough till now. I'd like a master cylinder without a servo though i'm used to stiff pedals and i miss the feeling lol power on a 1.3? lets just say i drive continuously in the slow lane and often watch daihatsu charades go from the rear view mirror, to the side mirror, then in front of me its like driving a bus with a 997 anglia engine
Andrade Posted August 16, 2010 Author Report Posted August 16, 2010 So, oil leak is now fixed, and am half way through the cooling. I would have finished it on Saturday if the water-pump was the right one, but anyway will hopefully sort everything out today and get it wired up tomorrow. Few pics:
