release bearing

Hi guys replaced the clutch in my escort and the release bearing is noisy when i put my foot down on the clutch pedal it goes away when i lift up with the clutch it makes the noise its only really noisy when hot have tried adjusting the cable but now wondering if i should replace the cable?

hmm it sounds like its the bearing thats at fault mate. Did you fit a new one or just clean up the old one?

sound like you done three quaters of the job mate,you should of changed the bearing as well

yes i replaced the bearing and lubed the shaft and the biting point is very low too? always change used a clutch kit. anyone?
