most of these companies get these seals etc from foreign countrys, they are only suppliers. i would take it to them and shove it right up someones *&^%$%*^!. sounds like they need a lesson in customer care. i need bits for my mk2 tina and theyve just lost my custom.

they dont have a 'shop' or atleast thats what they told me when I wanted to take my seals back!

Try these people http://www.coh-baines.co.uk/

they are only arround the corner from east kent, they are cheaper and an awful lot more polite!

Sounds like they didn't want you to pay them a visit mate, they do have a shop and I know this because I had my rubbers picked up from there on monday

Bought a full set for my mk2 - the door seals were fine, the front screen seal is good, rear screen seal and rear side window seals are a bit tight at the rear lower corners, but OK. Overall I think they were pretty good for aftermarket ones. Door sill outer seals were not a perfect fit but then the door skin replacement has left a slightly bigger gap between skin and window.

I actually know them down at east kent and i have heard good and bad things about them, but in all i think they are a good outfit, and yes you are right they dont make the seals but do supply them from different sources (so i believe), i have found them ok to deal with and yes they do have a shop counter that you can go down to and take a sample to match. Like all things car related if you dont fit genuine you always end up with a bit of grief with pattern parts, and unfortunately genuine trim (and parts) are no longer available for our beloved cars so we have to take a chance and buy pattern, if you speak to lee at EKT he's very human and has had a capri or two in his time so im sure he will sort out any issues that you have as i found him very approachable and the bits they sell are ok if you take a sample to match up.

Hope this helps and im not saying they are totally right in they way they have dealt with people but give them a chance and they do come up trumps.
