1970 Mk2 Cortina Estate

Not collected it yet but will be in the next week or so fingers crossed.

Currently a bog standard 1300 with a very solid body apart from the rear arches, a bit on the door bottoms and the front valance.

 

First job is to get it home cleaned up and MOT'd so its on the road while I collect all the parts I need. Its getting a 140bhp V**xhall 2 litre OHC(Sorry ) running Injection, modded Carlton sump, Manta 5 speed box with custom prop, lowered with rear tele shock conversion, Capri rear brakes, fronts undecided but possibly Princess 4 pots, probably end up rolling on deep 13inch minilites or Lotus steelies, either way it'll be better thank it is now.

 

Keeping it looking something like it should, just be a bit of a sleeper and leave the Paxo brigade wondering what just wasted them

 

Colour? Dont know yet, long time to decide yet...

Collected it on friday night, cleaned it up and its pretty good. Needs arches and a repair to a door and wings other than that its solid. Crying out to be modded, so will be soon.
