bead blasting next week , and a very worried me :)

My mk1 is going for bead blast next week to get all the surface rust of it , and I hope that is all it is and I don't get a phone call telling me to collect a box off rust

 

How powerfull is bead blasting ? Will it take out inocent metal ?

hi,had my mk1 front end bead blasted it was great,removed all the layers of paint to reveal nice clean metal,dont worry to much,the guy that did it showed me what he could do with a coke can and it took all the writing etc of it with out distorting the metal work.

sorry fella ive not got any at moment,trust me it saved a lot of prep time,i had the doors/bonnet and wings and boot lid done and it was basically ready for painting,hope this helps jason
