Hi all ,

 

Does anyone know what rear arches are fitted to Colin ashton's of " Ashton Mobil " yellow V6 powered Mk1 escort ?!

What are those wheels and tyre sizes, they look the nuts , and do they rub in the rear arches on launching ?! :mrgreen:

Are " 70's rally rear arches " as fitted to colin ashtons yellow Mk1 escort the same as Mexico/Twin cam rear arches as picture above by shane please ? :oops:

are these the same? i brought them from smith and deackin but never used them they called them mexico rear arches but ive never seen them fitted before

Yes they look to me that they are the same as whats on colins motor but he is not 100% . I believe he is going to check with an old friend of his who also had them fitted to a car.

 

So are " Twin cam spats " the same thing as " Mexico / Twin cam arches "

 

Colin said that Mexico rears arches are smaller than his but they look the same to me as above ? :oops:

they done 2 sizes 1.1/2- and 3inch i think colins are the same as the photos 3inch. and yes twincam spats are the same as mex rear arches :thumbsup:

Any one on here fitted them ?. Whats the best thing to do with the inner tubs ? they need to be cut back some and remade at least the top half ?.

 

Someone / body company on here must have ideas / knowledge :roll::thumbsup:
