fieldy1972 Posted September 29, 2010 Report Posted September 29, 2010 im after a fibreglass bootlid for my mk2 escort and i was looking at the Rallydesign ones. are they any good (fitting wise)? im only asking as ive got one (unknown make) and it fits like a 3 finger glove!! opinions needed please.

livewire7116 Posted October 14, 2010 Report Posted October 14, 2010 look on ebay and find a company called Xsport in basingstoke, bit more pricey but they are made to order and they refresh thier moulds regularly, i think for a lid with a spoiler is about £140

fieldy1972 Posted October 15, 2010 Author Report Posted October 15, 2010 i was going to send it back mate. ive got to go to eastbourne this afternoon to have a look why the boot dosnt fit the escort. thats where its being re-sprayed. i dont realy want to sell it on mate if the fitting and the finish is that bad.

He sold it when he moved to Australia along with his Mk1 twin cam
