  1. 4mm is only really essential for anysort of motorsport use. I used polycarbonate or lexan as some people call it
  2. vented with grooves and ds3000 pads
  3. i run a hi spec 275mm set up with no servo and work spot on when i jump on them from 125mph on a tarmac stage, have to be picky with wheel choice tho as clearance is tight
  4. repro manta sumps are available, chassis mount is way to go, only down side is if you want it to look tidy in there you will need an ign only ecu for the spark, Do not buy 2nd hand engine mounts!!!!
  5. tarmac spec inserts are 300/70 rating and are about £250 a pair, i run these on my billy casings with coilover conversion and an 8" spring, don't get any issues with bottoming out , you will prob find that your inserts are shot, the insert controls the dampening effect and the spring gives you the rebound
  6. I say if they want it let em have it, but they need to pay back any debts first and bring all accounts into the black so they have a clean slate to start with,
  7. I have a 2.0 pinto starter
  8. Got a 32/36 Dgav twin choke carb, been kicking around garage for years and will never get used by me again so might be of use to someone. The choke linkage has been removed from when I used to do road rallying £30 posted
  9. Ds3000s in mine give horrendous brake squeal unless I get them glowing so I dropped to 2500s
  10. my mate has a can of R40 which gives the same effect in his mk2 tina
  11. I just used a spread sheet and wrote all the different items in the boxes and printed it off. Then cut out the words and slide a piece of clear heatshrink over the wire and the paper cut out inside and shrink the tube
  12. I had a set of superlites with 275s and 4 pots
  13. Rally And Competition Equipment, normally advertise in Classic Ford mag
  14. you can get heat shielded cables from R.A.C.E, can also get longer cables which can be cable tied back away from the manifold, common problem on rally cars with big manifolds and lots of heat
  15. Anyone got a idea what gears I need for my type 9, running a 4.6 diff and a 195,530x13 moulded slick and revs to 8500
