Yeomans22 Posted October 21, 2010 Report Posted October 21, 2010 good luck mate, wish i had pushed myself when i was leaving school, kinda wasted my time and now i can't get anything.
SebringRS Posted October 21, 2010 Author Report Posted October 21, 2010 good luck mate, wish i had pushed myself when i was leaving school, kinda wasted my time and now i can't get anything. Yeah, i was suprised its free, cus the Government pay for the courses up to you being 19 years old
Mk1-Paul Posted October 21, 2010 Report Posted October 21, 2010 good luck. as long as you include your cars in the interview youll be fine. I did and it worked and im doing welding. and now the best bit. I have spoke to the guys at the motor vehicle side and they might take in my anglia and rebuild the whole engine and running gear for free and then get the good welding boys in to do the body. Win Win or what
SebringRS Posted October 21, 2010 Author Report Posted October 21, 2010 Yeah, Warwick said they sometimes do project cars for clients that bring them in So I see the van project/plan getting done cheaper than I thought
oxb1l Posted October 22, 2010 Report Posted October 22, 2010 Good stuff dont big classes anyway that way you'll get more hands on experience instead of watching others Have fun ! Bill
Admin Mk2Jo Posted October 22, 2010 Admin Report Posted October 22, 2010 Jordan has just done the same at our local college near Portsmouth Excellent course and Southsea Motor Club bring their cars in to be fixed as well so he's really looking forward to it. Filled out the application form and has an interview 26th Nov Just needs to get the same grades as your course and he's there ... English GCSE is in November for him though so he has just been given a week's worth of mock exam revision ready for 2 weeks time and the exam
RossMK2 Posted October 22, 2010 Report Posted October 22, 2010 good luck mate anything is better than school
SebringRS Posted October 22, 2010 Author Report Posted October 22, 2010 Well put the online application form in too. I cannot count how many times I mentioned how much I enjoy cars and how this course will help me in the future, hopefully nobody else has put the same kinds things, I want to be able to stand out, hence why I put I own, not just a mk1 escort, but a mk1 escort RS2000
