Went to one this afternoon, apart from being organized chaos, i really enjoyed looking round, and am now reaally excited to leave my school behind :thumbsup:

Im looking to do Motor Vehicle Body repairs :thumbsup: Went to Trident Park, Warwick tonight :thumbsup:

And well apart from wanting to know where the pinto in there race car had come from, i also now have alot of work on my hands :roll: Already put a form in to apply, but gotta do the online one to so i could get a interveiw :thumbsup:

I also have to get three Grade F's or above, easy :thumbsup: But im going to aim for alot higher so it gives me a greater chance of getting a placement :thumbsup:

And all that becuase........

The body repair course only has 15 spaces on it :shock:

Fingers crossed i get in, because thats purely the only thing ive been interested in doing :thumbsup:

Let the hard work begin :mrgreen:

good luck. as long as you include your cars in the interview youll be fine.

I did and it worked and im doing welding.

and now the best bit. I have spoke to the guys at the motor vehicle side and they might take in my anglia and rebuild the whole engine and running gear for free and then get the good welding boys in to do the body.

Win Win or what :lol::thumbsup:

Yeah, Warwick said they sometimes do project cars for clients that bring them in :thumbsup:

So I see the van project/plan getting done cheaper than I thought :lol:

Good stuff

dont big classes anyway that way you'll get more hands on experience instead of watching others

Have fun !

Jordan has just done the same at our local college near Portsmouth :thumbsup: Excellent course and Southsea Motor Club bring their cars in to be fixed as well so he's really looking forward to it. Filled out the application form and has an interview 26th Nov :thumbsup::thumbsup: Just needs to get the same grades as your course and he's there ... English GCSE is in November for him though so he has just been given a week's worth of mock exam revision ready for 2 weeks time and the exam :shock:

Well put the online application form in too. I cannot count how many times I mentioned how much I enjoy cars and how this course will help me in the future, hopefully nobody else has put the same kinds things, I want to be able to stand out, hence why I put I own, not just a mk1 escort, but a mk1 escort RS2000 :lol:
