Been thinking about what to do for christmas, and as the Xmas Bash is probably too far away for most, i thought why not have something for the Midlands area too, biased i know

few ideas went through my head, but just thought, why don't we sort out a date near Xmas NEXT YEAR, and book a table at a restaurant (got one in mind already, as its fairly central) and just have a nice meal

Doing this as a plan for next year as its probably too late for this year

The place i have in mind is the Huntsman Carvery in Dunchurch, Rugby. Yes again biased for me, but truthfully, its the best carvery ive ever had  Its quite expensive, but its worth every penny.

Not going to book now, just wondered if it was actually worth planning this, this time next year  Thinking about planning it along side the NEC Classic Car Show so we can have the members that show there cars next year, also come down, as its only max of 30 minutes away

So go on then, whos interested??:thumbsup:

Why don't you just contact them with a couple of dates for this year Tom seeing as you are having a fair response ... just give them a call and ask if they have a table for 8 or something on 5th Dec (for example) and see what they say :thumbsup:

Dads giving him a ring tomorrow, will be checking what dates they have free for a table of Max. 10

As soon as i get more info, i shall PM you all :thumbsup::beer:

Looks like the idea could be put ahead a year

OK, got some dates for us to choose from, obviously these may get booked, so we will have to be sharpish on making a decision

Right we've got:

Sunday 5th December: 4:30, 6:45 or 7:30pm?

Monday 6th December: 7:00 - 8:00pm?

Tuesday 7th December: 7:00 - 8:00pm?

Thursday 9th December: 7:00 - 8:00pm?

Sunday 12th December: 7:00 - 7:30pm?

Monday 13th December: 7:00 - 8:00pm?

Sunday 19th December: 7:00 - 7:30pm?

Monday 20th December: 7:00 - 8:00pm?

Wednesday 22nd December: 7:00 - 8:00pm?

These times and dates were for a table for 12 people, so thats our limit im aloud for this year

The times shown here are for when the table is allocated for, so if we book for say Wednesday 22nd, we all have to be there/seated by the time were booked in for

The price for Christmas is £25.00 per person, its quite expensive, but as said before, its worth it

The next post i put up will be for numbers and who will be attending, once ive PM'd everyone thats already showed interest

Im going to say Sundays probably going to be our best bet, will be a little busier, but probably easier for people to get there on a weekend, and not a week day

So what date suits you lot??:thumbsup:

Once thats sorted i'll do numbers
