We t-cutted a few bits yesterday when we got it back, which imporved it no end, so tomorrow me and my dad are going to give it a damn good clean and a lick of polish, see how good we can get it to come out, other than that, runs fine, starts on key everytime, and is bloody comfortable

ill take some better pics of both tomorrow after they've been buffeted :mrgreen:

The 'tina could do with a full re-spray, but we really can't afford to do it, especially as were only gunna have it a few month, its solid, just surface rust coming through  Was going to try and touch it all up to make it presentable, but think we'll just do our best with what we have, t-cut might get rid of it a little bit :thumbsup:

Can't blame it for rusting, had a good run, been sat outside for 14 years, 2 owners from new. Suprised it hasent rotted into the ground by now

Heres a few more of the cortina, spent yesterday cleaning it. The interior, which came up absolutely stunning, just need to possibly steam clean the carpets, then thats mint. Exterior well didnt go as well, but is deffo 100% better, needs a damn good clean again, dads looking at electric polishing mops now, so he can get the old sand paper and G3 out on the dull bits, proper bufty job

First off, my excellent work on the interior, with only a can of furniture polish and some airfreshener, this is how it turned out

get it cleaned up and take it to see the old owner!

Think both the guy we bought it off, and the guy that had it from new would have a heart attack

As I dont think either of them had heard of polish before

We were doubting ourselves while we were polishing it about weather it was worth doing or not, the quote "you can't polish a turd" did spring up at one point, but was deffo worth it :ykt:
