  1. don't get the new haynes book of lies, try to find an older one as that has a lot more detail in it, instead of telling you to just buy a new part. i also have an autodata one from the early 80's for the MK1 which has alot of info on getting the car to run properly. carb is easy to change if you know how, just remember you will need a new gasket.

  4. i charge from £75 for servicing
  5. they all came with unpainted body kits, painted ones were dealer special's to shift excess stock. flush the block out aswell. also check the water pump.
  6. i've got a module if you want it.
  7. pats can be by-passed if you know how, also you can use the later loom and rewire the ecu plug to use an earlier ecu.
  8. MK2 2 door with x-pack arches, but got a 1.3 gl 4 door which i never got on the road as it was my first car at 16. got scrapped in 2005
  9. ideal for shows if you have a car of the same year.
  10. signal green.
  11. went out at 7:30 am in my mk2 fiesta, great having no traffic!
  12. i'll be out early to go for a drive with the near empty roads.
  13. what you need is a big breaker bar, a hammer and someone to help. put your locking key on, put breaker bar and socket on, then put some pressure on the breaker bar as to undo it, make sure you hold it square, then get someone to hit the breaker bar with a hammer, make sure its a decent sized one. normally works.
