Hi guys I would like a little advice if Poss. Whilst fitting a zetec engine to type nine gearbox I put the gearbox on on the piss . And when bolting it put there was a big bang and I broke a bit of the block off. Do people think this would cause a prob or not. It's the one about 2 o'clock if u r looking at the flywheel

im doing a zetec conversion on a a reg 2.8 capri, please have a read on my resto page. I just want to know if there will be any probs that people know about whilst fitting the mondeo pump to the capri rack, and which pipe is in and out on the rack and pump?

whilst towing my car about from place to place waiting for a engine conversion, the speedo cable was unplugged on the gearbox end and i lost the clip to fasten it, can anyone give me a part number or a place that sells them?

help pls, can anyone tell me if im suppose to have a bush, or some type of collet on the front bolt that bolts the front of the leaf spring to the chassis, cos mine seem very sloppy

im doing a zetec conversion on a capri, after getting a 2.8 shell with type 9 box ive been told that there are two type 9's about. the pinto one and the one in the 3.0 essex with the input shaft is longer and is no good for the conversion. (which is also in some 2.8's)
how do i know which one ive got?

the car that will be giving up its engine and loom etc is a p reg mondeo with a silvertop 130 bhp engine.
its 1st of the mk2's i this makes any odd's
i have the whole car and is still being driven about if this helps guys with what loom i have?
