Or think thats what there called to hold the speedo cable end in a type 9 5 speed gearbox,can anyone help me out or know a place to get one,cant seem to get one around here thanks peeps

circlip local ford garage should still do em?

for now till you can get a circlip. use a small jubilee clip instead of doing it up / undo it until it grips on the inner casing where the cable goes.

or see if your local motor factors has got a "wot nots" stand they sell em on there
