Urgent! Anyone got 7x13 RS 4 spokes?

Hi!

 

Just got some 7x13 RS 4 spokes from midland wheels but they've sent wheel nuts with a tapered edge. I thought this sort of wheel should have a nut with a flat washer? Ive rang them but they said the 'new' ones use a tapered nut. I cant see a taper on the wheel itself though? Just wondered what everyone else has?

 

Also, will the tapered nuts be ok for the time being or is it a big no no ?

Have they sent you the new or old type wheels???

The old ones have the valve midway between the spokes. The new ones look like they have the valve in the correct place adjacent to the spoke.

Maybe they sent you old style wheels with new wheel type wheel nuts

Yeah they've got the valves inbetween the spokes. Never noticed the original ones have the valves inline with the spokes. Cheers for that mate. Got some different wheel nuts ordered now
