Posse Posted May 2, 2011 Report Posted May 2, 2011 Has anyone gone in for this refund I heard on the TV that you can claim it all back as it was missed sold ? I had some company call me up about it saying that they can claim it all back at a 20% fee . I haven't used mine for about 2 years but still been paying the £48 a month.
garyv6100e Posted May 2, 2011 Report Posted May 2, 2011 The only problem with it Guv is say they win you £2k compensation your credit card company do not give it to you they deduct it from the amount you owe ie if you have got a balance of £3k they will pay £2k of for you but you still have to pay the 20% fee (in this example £400) out of your own pocket only if the balance is less than the compensation will you receive the money hope that makes sense
Admin Mk2Jo Posted May 4, 2011 Admin Report Posted May 4, 2011 Why are you still paying ppi for a card you no longer use? Cancel the ppi payments straight away mate These claims are for people who think they have been mis-sold the ppi - ie. if you were forced into paying for ppi because they made you think that you had to have it ... if you chose to take out ppi because it was the right thing to do and you understood that then you cannot claim (as far as I understand it)
