aled Posted June 1, 2011 Report Posted June 1, 2011 **Snowdonia Tour 2011 - 9th / 10th / 11th September So here it is, an invitation to you all to the 2011 NWCF Snowdonia Classic Ford Tour. The tour is set to take place on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th September. Those wishing to travel over on Friday 9th are very welcome, many of you did this last year and made a whole weekend of it. The Cost: **We've kept last years prices folks!!** Camping – £7.50 per adult per night. This is an all-inclusive charge for use of the facilities for campers, i.e. hot water, showers, electricity and Wi-Fi facilities. Camping Barn – Those wishing to upgrade, have the opportunity to stay in a converted barn with camp-beds provided. This is limited to 10 persons and will be on a “first come first served” basis. The cost of the barn is £10 per adult per night. This is an all inclusive fee for the use of the facilities; Toasters, electric kettle, microwave, plates & cups/glasses, cutlery & crockery, refrigerator, sink with hot water, chairs & tables, oven with 4 ring hob, electric heater in cold weather, DVD player, complimentary tea & coffee. The Important Bit: *All bookings to be made via myself* During a previous tour a couple of years ago, we did have a problem with a select few who said they would come; a place was booked for them by me, only to cancel at the last minute. With that in mind we will be charging £20 deposit (refundable on arrival) and those who don’t attend or can’t make it for some reason will make a £20 charity donation by default. There is no charge for the tour itself, Aled and I cover all the admin costs, the only extra will be the tour plaques which will be available for purchase on arrival. For example; 1 car, 2 people camping 1 night = Total cost £15.00, amount payable £35.00 (inc deposit) 1 car 2 people camp-barn 1 night = Total cost £20.00, amount payable £40.00 (inc deposit) Balances to be paid in full this year no later than Wednesday 20th July 2011. Thats 7 weeks to pay. JOINING INSTRUCTIONS: lets keep it simple! 1. Send an email to northwalesclassicfords@live.co.uk expressing your wish to attend. 2. You will receive a reply within 24 hours acknowledging your request. 3. Complete the details requested and send back to me. 4. You will then receive a reservation email requesting payment It really couldn't be any simpler. Please remember that payment in FULL is required no later than Wednesday 20th July. I will not be chasing people for money like I had to last year, if you're not paid up then you're not on the tour. Sorry folks, but I have to spell it out like that. This is merely a gathering of friends and their Classic Fords for a drive around North Wales. All vehicles/drivers require their own independent insurance policy. I would also like to add that this has been seen as the ideal end of season tour, whereas the Cumbria Lakes Tour is normally the start for many.
