Durham Fiesta Posted June 18, 2011 Report Posted June 18, 2011 As i know there are a few people on here that work in the car recovery/transportation business , i thought this would be the ideal place to ask a few questions . Basically i was wanting to know what are the requirements to be able to start up a legitimate car transportation business . A lad i know is talking about it but doesn't know what he legally needs to be able to operate . He will just be using a van type recovery truck. Anyone got any advice to help him out ???
mk1estate Posted June 20, 2011 Report Posted June 20, 2011 good luck to him, there seems to be so many people doing it out there now and as far as i can make out most of the recovery work is all linked up to the insurance companies now, they nearly all offer breakdown cover on thier policies and if you can get in with them you should have a good start. i would have thought a good start would be to get yourself fully insured first
deltamal Posted June 20, 2011 Report Posted June 20, 2011 I got a good deal with Equity red star to insure my Beavertail, worth giving them a try....
