Mrs O/H/C Posted July 4, 2011 Report Posted July 4, 2011 Leadfoot ran a 15.0 in the Cortina (Nearly in the 14s) I ran for the first time in the Cortina and managed a 15.9, which I feel is a respectable first attempt
Johnson Posted July 4, 2011 Report Posted July 4, 2011 i only managed a 14.4 kp busted into the 12's with a 12.9 and zak was doing consistant 13.2's here is a on board vid of one of my runs 9yqWA022-Tc it was a great show apart from those little fly bug things everywhere we are seriously considering joining in the championship next year.
nickb Posted July 4, 2011 Report Posted July 4, 2011 i do love an in car vid, must hook mine up again next time. consistantly ran 15.1 and picked up my best reaction time so far of 0.17, retro show is becoming one of the best with not many cars in the pit lane all morning, bit busier in the afternoon not helped by the MG spilling fluid down the middle of the lane rather than stopping straight away like Glenbo
harris horse power Posted July 4, 2011 Report Posted July 4, 2011 Nice one ben car was flying (all thanks to my slicks lol) at least I've finally got some xflow powered fiesta competion. Shame mine broke on the first run else we could have had some good race's

Johnson Posted July 6, 2011 Report Posted July 6, 2011 was that becasue the rocker gear was loose? whats the piston like. at least its not the bottom end like you origianaly thought
harris horse power Posted July 6, 2011 Report Posted July 6, 2011 No it was due to me over reving it between 3rd and 4th. Think it's time for a rev limiter
Toby Posted July 6, 2011 Report Posted July 6, 2011 No it was due to me over reving it between 3rd and 4th. Think it's time for a rev limiter There's no reason not to have one! I did my valve train when I unplugged mine once as it was messing about.... Sounds like some cracking times achieved by everyone. 15 zero again Mr Leadfoot! Annoying or what!
