Banded Lotus Steels Yes/No

I have a set of 5.5" Lotus Steels for my Mk1 Cortina. Before I spray them, I am thinking about getting them banded.

 

Question is should I? If yes, anyone know anybody good who they would recommend?

I'd get some std ones off a 1.1 myself and band those rather than do it to lotus steels. It'll de-value them!

 

Just my opinion tho of course, they're your wheels bud

I think you're right mate. Will leave them for now and keep them standard.

Ive used JamesP for mine, but he refuses to cut Lotus steels, fair play really. I got some Mk1 / 2 cortina 4.5's to band.
