Beaumont Posted August 21, 2011 Report Posted August 21, 2011 Hi im Luke, I own a Anglia which is off the road, I am currently trying to restore it to a road worthy condition for when I pass my test, I am 16 so yet to drive it, and due to my age it shall remain standard so that I have a chance of insuring it. I am in need of some advice to how to fix the anglia, I have recently started it after 8 years, and it is running rich, the mixture screw does nothing and it continues to run the same even with it removed, please let me know how to fix the problem or the location of a new carb.

mk2 mike Posted August 21, 2011 Report Posted August 21, 2011 Hi Luke, welcome What sort of money does it cost for a 16 year old to insure an old ford?
Beaumont Posted August 22, 2011 Author Report Posted August 22, 2011 Not sure, still a month away from learning how to drive so I have not yet started looking for quotes. But as the companies like to quote by cc im starting to regret buying a 1200 instead of the 997
