Im here, at home, feeling smug as most of my mates start 6th form today Whereas i have another week before college starts

I should stop rubbing it in But nah, its too fun, one of my m8s hates it already, only been there a few hours......but he's getting an apprenticeship at Aston this week hopefully, so that will get him out of that for a few days a week

Oh how times have changed. In my day only the geeks from school went to college. The rest of us had jobs lined up before we left school. Thats just the way it was 25 years ago

Sitting in a hospital ward as one of my sons had his tonsils removed this morning

My mate just text me saying "Its sh*t so its a good job that aston rang me today, I got it!"

 

So he's now chuffed that he doesnt have to go 6th form anymore And he's now got an engineering apprenticeship at Aston.......Lucky Git
