Escort MK2 Chrome Quarter Bumpers?

Did these ever exist? I swear i've never seen any, my friend thought they did but then when I mentioned it, he couldn't recall where he seen them and kinda changed his mind. So yeah any help would be great.

If not, has anyone ever chrome any mk2 quarter bumpers, or seen any where it has been done? Pictures would be great, it's something i'm thinking about

Is anyone making new chrome rear bumpers for the mk2 or is the best you can get NOS?
