i put Capri single leafs on mine, brand new. They are alittle stiffer than our Cortina ones and do raise the back. Its easier to buy the springs from Gartrac and have them decamber them by 2". I still used 2" lowering blocks to get the arse on the floor. Works a treat and not hard to do. Look in BSC im going to put write up. I did mine 3 weeks ago.

what bushes did you use ? and were they 2.8 and 3.0 ones ?

suspension stiffening and raising is what im looking for :)

with my custom car sat at a stand still with nobody in it my leaf springs are almost level  there pretty knackered, now has sbc power and slung back abit so want something abit taller and stiffer.

Bushes i used were the standard cortina mk2 series 2. The capri uses the same ones anyway, 2.8. I used Poly bushes proper ones not the cheap ones (tried them pain in the bum), fit straight in no headaches.

edit: forgot to say you need the rear shackles burton sell them. They are wider for the leaf 60mm and narrower at the chassi so bolt up with no mods.

i thought capri leaf springs were 50mm wide like the cortina ?

my axle top plate mount that the u bolts go in will not accept a 60mm spring ?
