Dashboard configuration ideas

Im playing with ideas for the mk1 escort dash, i want to keep it fairly standard looking but at the same time move a few bits about and incorporate 3 gauges

 

here are the changes id like to make

 

 

 

 

Most part of the dashboard id like to keep black with a single brushed aluminium strip acrost the middle housing 3 gauges, id like to move the heater controls 2" lower beside my fan, lights and wiper switches

 

is it going to be possible to move the heater controls or am i going to run into problems?

Im guessing you would need to make new cables up the heater controls, as the length will be to short and by being bent most likely will make the operation difficult or will put the configuration out, i:e will be stuck on hot or cold all the time.

 

You can fit a stack dash up the A pillar or alter a 6 pod dash and fit modern guages to suit you needs.
