heres my fathers mk1 capri, was in madina green (sp) but the paint was diy and a bit soft, so pitts and damage was happening quickly over the last 2-3 years so hes been wanting a respray.

 

but after hsi bonnet flew open at speed damaging itself, the scuttle panel and hinges it was crying out for a body shop repair.

 

so its currently wearing no paint, stripped down by my old man and his mate whos professional painter, scuttle has been welded and filled in using a special poxy/fiberglass mix

 

 

i will get older pics of his computer but this is it before the strip down

 

 

but heres pics before going in for the painting

 

 

it actually has a 1.6 pinto he removed from a written off mk3 he had before it, which has a kent cam in it :)

 

he bought princess 2.2 4 pots for it, which are now fitted, i need to get some pics of these..

little update

 

its all painted now, and in 5 coats of laquer too!

 

bits are being put back on, and the bonnet now satin black

Pictures of the paint job, its not 100% yet, bumpers are still being done, and its not been buffed up yet either

 

but i think you'll agree with me the colour is stunning and its so much better then before!
