  1. As title really, the auto box was working well before removed, removed for manual conversion after £60 collected (i can sort postage out at your cost) Im also selling the auto pedal box, selector and torque convertor for £25 for the lot located south wales, port talbot
  2. Ive lost mine after removing the bumper over a year ago, an y one got the pair?! just to be clear, the two brackets either side, that connect the front bumper to the inner wings, two bolts per bracket for inside the wing... Cheers!!
  3. ive misplaced mine and im in desperate need of a replacement, any one know of one or have one lingering in the shed please get in touch its something i need to get my capri on the road
  4. omg that is stunning, i now know what my dad has to do to his!
  5. seriously stunning what did it take to fit the cossie brakes?
  6. thats very nice, a good engine choice! how does it sound?
  7. Amazing! id never have even dreamt of a supercharged YB, what a fantastic install, not to mention bike carbs on a custom made plenum!
  8. some work has been done! was bit bored today and had some good weather so i figured id fit the four branch we got for her at Ford Fair i actually choose it from the 2 on sale, this one seemed to be a direct (as they come) fitment so set about removing the old manifold, but run into trouble as i found the down pipe is welded to the mid section by some numpty in the past, so i had to then take the entire midsection off, but when doing so the back section wouldnt come free form the mid, and after a few knocks with the hammer the pipe out of the mid silencer snapped off... so its going to need a replacement mid box now as well as the already ruined back section im looking to buy a used mid section and perhaps a cherry bomb backbox for some exhaust note, unless something decent pops up cheap as it stands now the four branch is fitted, but none of the rest of the system is on
  9. did you pick that Ashley system up at Ford Fair, we were eyeing it up aswell looking good though, hows it sound? a video would draw a decent picture
  10. done some work to the capri! :aaah: :bonkers: in this sun? couldnt say no, been iching to for a few days, id did wanna work on the mk1 but i have no idea what the old man is doing with the wiring loom :oooh: anyway, always thought the front end has too much white, especially as some have black lamp surrounds and grill, but i cant get the rusty screws out of the both lamp suroudns, so without snapping the surround, it will have to stay white however i painted the grill satin black today... in between doing that, i treated the areas my old man grinded out the rust, and kurusted them, so i wet and dried them back, and applied red oxide this area needs quite some work yet the big hole has been plated rear arch too the bigger picture she does drive well, gets upto speed and through the gears, but sluggish still, plenty of missfiring more to come soon, we want it Mot'd in the next few months
  11. very nice, killer power to weight too!
  12. this is on the back burner lately, mk1 capri is in the garage atm, old man is sorting the wiring out on it, but has gotten stuck although, the rot was cut out of the wing, awaiting new metal welded in it runs, drives etc, but alot of headscratching as its quite sluggish, doesnt wanna rev, and has a few misfires think it just needs proper setting up but lack the knowledge on this older engine to get it running good
  13. yay we have sorted it right out now! took the starter motor off, and found the bolt that had fallen in the bellhousing, then noticed the torque converter bolts were quite loose, they must have loosened up after getting it running a while ago so with them tightened up we got it back together, stared it up and was glad to hear this: dont know how to get the video link to work wont be long till its put through the mot! so relieved with it
