White MK1 Escort rolling shell spotted on M18

Hi All

Just thought i would mention i saw a lovely looking MK1 escort on the back of a modern citroen flat bed tow van.Spec as far as i could tell was:

white,english axle, lotus steels (i think), mexico wings, holes in front panel that appear not to be swaged, no glass in.

 

It looked like it was fresh from respray, my only thoughts were it was being towed in the open on a day forecast for lots of rain and snow. I know if it had been mine looking that fresh i wouldnt be transporting it in all that bad weather. My road car was grafted! I did get a photo from the back if people are worried. More than likely legit but worth a comment i thought.

forgot to say, this was yesterday mornign at about half ten, heading south west (towards sheffield)and i think was jsut befoer the A1 turning.
