hi I'm starting to put my escort mk1 together, i have adjustable tca's, coil overs, twin cam arb and anti dive kit.

the anti kit is crap and doesnt line up with my car at all, what do i need to use to mount the twin cam arb as the standard mounts and bar seem to pull my wheels to far forward??

I've done a few searches on hear and they all seem to say different so any help would be great

Hi Nik

not sure why it would be pulling them forward (the twin cam does have longer threads as well as thicker to allow you to bring it forward but only slightly) the only problem i have had in the past with double width mounting kit was needed to open holes out to get them to line up with my bolts.

are u using double width mounts for the twin cam roll bar where it mounts to the chassis/bumper irons? my car is slammed with standard anti roll bar and the wheels are too far back i have got a twin cam roll bar and double width mounts now though but havent fitted them yet, im led to believe the roll bar pulls it too far forward on its own but the double width mounts then compensate for this then u can fine tune it with the longer threads on the tca end of the roll bar, i havent put mine on yet though so i guess i will find for sure then, but basically ive been assured that u cant use the twink roll bar with the standard mounts for this reason :?
