rs2000 clutch fork question

ive just bought a genuine ford clutch fork to use with alloy bellhousing, but i thought there should be a metal like "tang" that holds it on to the locating peg or does the fork just rest on it?

im sure there should be a metal "tang" on the back of the fork to hold it in place nice and tight

cant see it going anywhere but just want it to be right before i put the engine and box in coz i really dont wanna be taking it out again lol

Just sits over the locating pin mate in the bell housing mate
