lotusless Posted May 27, 2012 Report Posted May 27, 2012 Great pics a lot of different motors there. and my lovely old 2.0 gxl cortina too thats the first time ive seen a pic of it since i sold it did you notice was it resprayed ? or was the paint still dodgy in places ?

Johnoxo Posted May 27, 2012 Report Posted May 27, 2012 Yeah it was a good meet, I was going to pop some pics up but Coggers has put my phone pics to shame The MK3 Cortina did indeed have dodgy paintwork especially along the tops of the wings and doors, was still good to see it though That Mk1 Fiesta in green was in good fettle also Obviously some cars came and went after I left as there's some in the pics above that I didnt see there Free Tea, Bacon butties and loads of Fords Old & New what more do you want on a Sunday afternoon

I wouldn't worry about the old Mk3! We had a good chat the the guy who owns it. He obviously loves the car and is definately going to get any bodywork/new panels sorted and a fresh coat of paint in the near future. He is just looking for a good body shop to sort her out properly. We pointed him in the direction of a local company who is working on a mk1 Capri for a mate.
