MK1 Escort Diamond White Colour Code ???

Hi there I have a 1974 Escort MK1 in Diamond White and the colou code is B5. I need to get some paint and I am being told this is not the correct code, has anyone got any ideas and this is the code on the Vin plate??

If you google it this comes up..HYCOTE touch up - Ford Diamond White paint code: B/FB/691

 

you could try that code with a paintshop.

there's a hell of a lot of different shades of diamond white...best take a panel to paintshop and get it matched, unless going for full inside and out respray
