BoDuke Posted August 18, 2012 Report Posted August 18, 2012 Can anyone tell me if a car with bump steer would fail an MOT? When the car is jacked up, you can see the wheels are not "straight" but are angled slightly. Thanks.
mk1estate Posted August 18, 2012 Report Posted August 18, 2012 cars are not road tested nowdays so they wont know if it bump steers, but surely you would want to get this corrected if you can anyway
BoDuke Posted August 20, 2012 Author Report Posted August 20, 2012 I plan to. The car has rack and pinion steering but I wanted to mot it while I sorted the bits to correct the problem with it. It was a nice sunny day when I posted it and had a craving to get out in it so thought I would ask the question. Cheers.
