7x13 wheels

any one got 7 x 13 wheels on a mk1 cortina as i have been told they rub

I have, lowered and on 7x13 superlights.

 

Modified the rear arch lips a bit,but they still rub over bumps,

 

but I am on 185/60/13's ,I think it would be ok on 175/50's.

i have been told 175/50/13s and 195/45/13 well be ok but not to sure as i dont want to get them and then have to mod the body

I spoke to a guy at the mk1 cortina nats a couple of weeks ago, who was on

 

7x13 superlights and 175/50's who said they did not rub but he had cut

 

the arch inner lips back.

ok thanks i might have to think more about it as i dont want to do that as i know 5.5x 13 should fit so migth get a set off them
