gazbd1 Posted September 22, 2012 Report Posted September 22, 2012 Im looking for some info on the engine in my cortina its a 1300cc pre Xflow and ive been told that it could be a very rare item indeed and that the hillclimb/historic race boys might be interested in as im current looking to sell the engine apparently it needs to be the right head/engine numbers anyone have any knowledge on these or a forum that i could search to find out cheers for reading.

Caz Posted September 23, 2012 Report Posted September 23, 2012 I presume you have the relevant block/ head numbers by now? I've got one so I could check for you if not. I've read a bit about this engine on the 105 speed forum and unfortunately it seems that its rarity isn't really reflected in its value. I'll be interested when you arrive at a figure.
