nitrousnutter Posted October 14, 2012 Report Posted October 14, 2012 Just browsing gaybay and came across these, do you think they are any good, and do they not need the inner bush as they have a rose joint on the end?? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mk1-Mk2-Escor ... 8306324%26
meXEco Posted October 14, 2012 Report Posted October 14, 2012 They look the same as the ones i have from Ral Des. No probs with them-and no you just use spacers for the inner rose joint. Obviously they are a bit harsher than rubber bushed items.
nitrousnutter Posted October 14, 2012 Author Report Posted October 14, 2012 oh yes didnt think of that, it is mainly going to be a road car but with a tuned 2.1 on 45s. without the inner rubber does it make it uncomfortable to drive etc, or just a bit more like you say harsh but useable lol.
meXEco Posted October 14, 2012 Report Posted October 14, 2012 Its not that bad to be honest-but you can get rubber bushed ends that can be swapped over-or just get the rubber bushed variety instead.
nitrousnutter Posted October 14, 2012 Author Report Posted October 14, 2012 thanks mate, just loloked on rally design and they are a bit cheaper! , plus they are just down the road from me really so ill probs get them from there. do you know if the bolt and spacers come in the kit? cheers again jason..
meXEco Posted October 14, 2012 Report Posted October 14, 2012 Not sure if they come in their kit but they do sell the side spacers and bolts in their catalogue so should have them on the shelf.
nik_plant Posted October 14, 2012 Report Posted October 14, 2012 I don't no if everyone has to do this but when I fitted these to my escort mk1 crossmember had to drill the holes out to suit the new bigger bolts. Just a heads up mate
w p e Posted October 14, 2012 Report Posted October 14, 2012 ask r/design for the rose joint reducers so you dont have to drill the x/member

nik_plant Posted October 14, 2012 Report Posted October 14, 2012 ask r/design for the rose joint reducers so you dont have to drill the x/member wish I new that before
