klassicdave Posted October 14, 2012 Report Posted October 14, 2012 Hi my name is Dave Lewer and I'm a mad keen old car enthusiast whether it be hotrods/kustoms or standard classics, though I especially love old Fords. My current project is a 62 Consul Capri which I bought as a rusty hulk and have poured countless hours of welding and fabrication on over the last 8 months. That part of the rebuild is nearing completion, so I've just gone and bought a 2.0 black top Zetec to sit between the rails. I'm going to have to read all the info I can glean from this forum as I'm only used to playing with early mechanics without sensors and ECU's, although I'm sure I'll get pointed in the right direction by some of you guys when I need to ask the obvious - lol. Oh by the way, I have owned a decent amount of vintage Ford metal already in the form of MK2 Consul, MK3 Zephyr, 1700 Corsair, MK1 and 2 Escorts (saloons an estate and a rare camper version), two Ford Classic's another Consul Capri, 3 MK2 Cortina's (2 x 1600e's and a 1600 deluxe). Well that's me done
