Fair play mr grumps. Anyone know what DVLA are likely to ask for re- engine swap?

utter turds changed my 1.4 carb cvh to 1.6 carb cvh

invoice from where the engine came from with engine number

garage invoice for work done

than just to take the piss they wouldnt do it as according to them you dont get a 1597cc engine, all 1.6's are 1600cc (said the twat at dvla)

just to have the log book updated and tax class, fook em mate just tell the insurance

i only tell the insurance as the dvla wanted receipts from garages etc,

i said i did the engine change myself, that wouldn't accept it, it not like im telling them ive fitted a smaller engine

Just read that supporting evidence for an engine change on a pre 73 vehicle is not required regardless of cc.
