ijdavie Posted November 6, 2012 Report Posted November 6, 2012 I know it's not a ford but hey u guys, might be able to point me in the right direction. I have a BMW z3 which is not starting. it's turning over but not firing. I have so far found out that the car is not getting petrol. does anyone know where the relay is on a BMW z3 2001 ??? I need a car on the road and this is the one. Don't really want to get a auto elec in as that's going to eat in to my budget for the Capri. I have checked and n power is getting to the fuel pump fuses seem ok so thinking relay but can't find it. So thought I would try here. :-/. Cheers.
w p e Posted November 7, 2012 Report Posted November 7, 2012 the fuses feed the relay so if powers at the pump then the pumps duff.
Stiggy Posted November 7, 2012 Report Posted November 7, 2012 Is this all of a sudden ??? Have you checked the inertia switch ??? Shuts fuel off when you have a shunt, can also be triggered by bumping up a kerb etc etc.
rallyesport04 Posted November 8, 2012 Report Posted November 8, 2012 deffo try the inertia switch the car opertors manual should have fuses relays an inertia listed failing that do haynes sell a manual
