NEED HELP ON MK1 ESCORT DASH

hi, i have a left hand drive mk1 escort with a 2 dial dash. i want to change the 2 dial dash for a 6 dial dash. would there be many complications involved apart from making a bigger hole in the dash for the 6 dial dash to fit in?

First you need to drill two holes to except the extra lugs on the new dash (mark where to drill by putting dabs of paint on the ends of the lugs and carefully placing it in position) Then get a hack saw or tin snips and remove the extra metal.

 

The headlamp switch will need to be moved somewhere else also.
