mk1 escort 1100cc

hi im after advice on an exhaust for a 1970 mk1 2dr 1100cc escort. im struggling to find one anywhere so thought about a big bore type but acc to suppliers it will only fit the 1300cc not the 1100cc version but whats the difference can any one help thanks

I dont know of any difference tbh . Most of the 1300 systems are made for 1600 so the manifolds are a little long so run abit lower at the front, but as the 1100 and 1300 are the same block really i cant see a problem.

thanks i was thinking they must be basically the same as the standard exhaust manifold for the 1100 and the 1300 are the same. i just didnt want to buy a bigbore type version that the seller says will fit the 1300 but not the 1100 maybe hes not quite 100% cheers anyways looking forward to the mighty 1100 power
