shaun1.6ghia Posted January 27, 2013 Report Posted January 27, 2013 So I fully flo flex polyurethane bushed my escort for a extremely good price but now I am looking for some one off bushes for my next project and none of the bush companies say the sizes of bushes just sets for each car. I am looking for a set of 6 bushes for leaf spring setup. After measuring the sizes are 2inch wide and 25mm across with a hole 12mm across. I have emailed flo flex and super flex with no reply so just wondered if anyone knew where to get some at a reasonable price. Any info would be great
shaun1.6ghia Posted January 28, 2013 Author Report Posted January 28, 2013 If I could find a part of another car that has a similar size bush I could order just that part. What is the size of a mk1 escort rear shackle bush? Or shackle to chassis? Any help guys

welshmike Posted January 29, 2013 Report Posted January 29, 2013 Ok mate, just come in from the garage and seen this so went back out and dug out some chassis to spring shackle bushes off my old Mk2 Escort Estate, i presume all escort ones would be the same. Measurements are in mm by the way. So a bit too small for your needs i think, but theyre yours if you need em. I work in a scrap yard so ill keep an eye out for anything that might be suitable on any of the cars i work on.
welshmike Posted January 29, 2013 Report Posted January 29, 2013 Dunno if Id get a job on Antiques Roadshow with hands like that though!
shaun1.6ghia Posted January 31, 2013 Author Report Posted January 31, 2013 Thank you welshmike that is awesome, bad news for me tho better keep looking
monkeymoreton Posted February 3, 2013 Report Posted February 3, 2013 what about these http://www.burtonpower.com/shackle-bush ... oly19.html
welshmike Posted February 3, 2013 Report Posted February 3, 2013 Monkeymoreton, they are the same as the ones I pictured above. just a different brand.
monkeymoreton Posted February 4, 2013 Report Posted February 4, 2013 Then they should fit as theyre mk2 escort bushes poly bushes are different size to normal bushes some times
